Replace the filters in your 5500-2
- Switch off and unplug the purifier. Pull the front panel gently from its upper edge, then remove the pre-filter and used replacement filters.
- Unwrap the new filters. Seat the HEPA at the back, the AOC carbon filter in the middle, and the pre-filter at the front.
- Refit the front panel before reconnecting power.
Reset the filter light
With the new filters installed and panel closed, turn the purifier on. Use a thin object such as a paper clip to hold the recessed Filter Reset button for at least 5 seconds, until the beep and the indicator goes out.
The HEPA is not washable. If you rinse the washable AOC carbon filter, follow the manual’s cleaning instructions and dry it completely for at least 24 hours before reuse.
